84 Lumber opens new component plant in Winter Haven, Florida

84 Lumber, the nation’s largest privately held building materials supplier, announced the opening of its new component plant in Winter Haven, Florida. Located at 165 Industrial Blvd W., Winter Haven, Florida, this is the company’s primary component plant in the state of Florida. The plant will officially open its doors for operation by the end of January 2024.

As the company continues its expansion across the country, component plants are top of mind. Florida has historically been a strong market for 84 Lumber and the component element will remain a priority moving forward. This location will not only generate new business but will also offer customers increased service options.

“Florida is an area where we are targeting immense growth,” said 84 Lumber Vice President of Installed Sales and Manufacturing Ken Kucera. “Opening this new component plant has already proven to be a great success and we expect to keep the momentum going. This new facility will allow us the capacity to not only keep up with market demands but also expand our customer base.”
