ABMA encourages dealers to contact legislators

Nearly one year into its existence, the American Building Materials Alliance (ABMA) says that while the group has made significant progress, met with dozens of members of Congress and government agencies, and undergone notable wins during its inaugural year, they have not been able to meet with all 535 members of Congress.

ABMA says LBM dealers can help make those introductions in Congress by taking two minutes to send federal representatives a message. It will tell them all about the ABMA, the industry’s issues, and let them know the group is available to work with them on federal lumber, building materials, construction, and related issues.
