John Mergy first joined Do it Best as the manager of the IT division’s project management office, quickly advancing through leadership roles as divisional manager of application development and director of application portfolio management.

Smith replaces Randy Rusk, who originated the role and recently accepted a promotion as a special projects manager for integrations at Do it Best.

The Big Green Egg RV was on-site to add even more excitement to the event, while local radio personalities Denny Smith and Pat Sullivan, from 93.1 WIBC, entertained the crowd with a live remote broadcast. 

While Do it Best announced its bid to acquire substantially all of the True Value assets and business operations, the transaction remains subject to regulatory and court approvals.
