Mike Berger
As editor of LBM Journal, Mike Berger brings over 25 years of writing and editorial experience to LBM Journal. He has been writing for the publication since 2017, and prior to that he served for many years as managing editor for HANDY Magazine—at the time one of the country’s largest home improvement publications. He also served as executive editor of Midwest Home, editor of Popular Woodworking Books, and contributor to numerous national magazines including Wood, Do It Yourself, Consumer Digest, Popular Woodworking, Gardening How-To, Street Thunder, and Rider. In addition, he is the author of “The Best Birdhouses for Your Backyard,” “Easy Birdhouses and Feeders,” and “Hoosier Hauntings.” He lives in northern Minnesota along the shore of Lake Superior where he is an avid outdoor enthusiast and volunteer rescue diver.
