Over the past four decades, this Indiana business has worked to create a one-stop shop for builders and homeowners alike.

Now in its fifth year, the LBM 100 includes insights from dealers across the U.S., sharing both challenges and successes, as well as self-reported key data points on hiring, new technologies, and more.

Seeing a rising need in the homebuilding market for components, co-founders Joshua Ratcliff and Stinson Dean said their focus has been finding solutions for homebuilders to do more work with less labor. 

Miami Lumber’s longevity comes in part from the relationships the company has developed over the years with its customers.

Over the past 65 years, Lumber King has transformed itself from a small lumber processing operation to a multi-location building center chain.

More than 60 contractors and suppliers, along with over 350 individuals and volunteers, helped to build a 7,000-sq.-ft. accessible home for the Mullins family.

Now in its 75th year, Wilson Lumber has built its foundation on the idea of doing the right thing for its people and its customers, creating a culture of longtime employees and business relationships.
