BlueLinx names new VP of national accounts

ATLANTA — BlueLinx Holdings Inc. has promoted one of its general managers to the role of vice president of national accounts. Gregg Argall, most recently the GM of the Chicago and Madison, Wis. branches, will lead the BlueLinx National Account Team effective May 1.

“We are excited to announce the promotion of Gregg Argall to Vice President of National Accounts,” says Mitch Lewis, president and CEO of BlueLinx “Gregg has demonstrated both a passion and talent for strong customer relationships and strategically growing our business and we look forward to him showcasing his abilities and creativity in his new role.”

Argall will be responsible for driving market share growth in BlueLinx’s newly combined National Accounts Team consisting of home centers, national pros, specialty dealers, multi-family, and co-op channels. In addition, he will have responsibility for BlueLinx’s Marketing Team which will become part of a re-designed and integrated National Accounts organization.

Argall brings over 18 years of sales, marketing, category, and general management experience with multiple companies in the building materials industry, BlueLinx says. Early in his career, Argall held territory and regional sales manager roles at Fabral and DECRA, suppliers of metal roofing and wall systems. Argall began his tenure with BlueLinx as its general manager of Exterior Products and, most recently, served as the general manager of BlueLinx’s Chicago and Madison branches overseeing all sales and operations functions for the two locations.
