PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh-based Busy Beaver has been a Mt. Pleasant mainstay for hardware and home improvement for the past 25 years. On Aug. 13 the company opened the doors to a much larger store.
“I’m looking forward to an exciting opportunity at our new Mt. Pleasant location,” says Mark Bertok, VP of operations. “The same knowledgeable and friendly staff with many great new product assortments and selections. This store is a true destination for the Mt. Pleasant area.”
At 55,000 square feet, the store is one of Busy Beaver’s largest among its 24 locations across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. With twice the square footage of their previous location, all departments have gained some extra space. Among the most dramatically expanded are Lumber, Grilling, Power Tools, Crafts, and Carhartt apparel, the company says.
A grand opening event is planned for Saturday, Sept. 18.
