NADRA is Your Voice in the Deck and Railing Industry
The North American Decking & Railing Association (NADRA) is made up of builders, manufacturers, dealers/distributors, lumberyards, wholesalers, retailers, industry representatives, inspectors and service providers to the deck and railing industry. By working together, we are one voice for the industry and deliver a clear message to the consumer and the code development bodies. NADRA serves as a non-profit trade association with emphasis on safe building practices and deck safety.
We are growing and need more members like you to join committees and represent your segment of the value chain.
NADRA has accomplished many great achievements in ten short years, and we have much work to do in the years ahead. We need your continued support to help us reach our goals.
One of our most recent accomplishments was representing all facets of the industry at the ICC code hearings. NADRA prevented 14 new codes from going to effect that would have had an adverse impact on the deck building industry. How did we do this? We hired professional code officials who understood the new codes being proposed and they represented the association at the hearings. They served as a voice of reason, representing NADRA members at the hearings. As I’m sure you can imagine, this takes time and financial resources. This is just one important area that NADRA has helped our outdoor living industry with the help from membership contributions.
If you’re looking for ways to grow your business in 2015, NADRA has a list of valuable benefits that will make an impact on the way you do business, such as:
