LITTLETON, Mass. — Concord Lumber Corporation, a building materials supply company in Littleton, Massachusetts, is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2016. Established by the Smith family in Concord in 1946, Concord Lumber Corporation has expanded from six employees and one location to nearly 130 employees and four divisions. The now employee-owned company is celebrating its 70th year with a store remodel for the Littleton location, additional product offerings and an updated website.
The company operates two lumber and building materials stores, Concord Lumber and Littleton Lumber (in Concord, Mass. and Littleton, Mass. respectively), a kitchen and bath division, The Kitchen Works (in Acton, Mass.) and a moulding and millwork division, Forester Moulding and Millwork (in Littleton, Mass.). Additionally, the company has an installed sales department for windows and doors.
The Littleton Lumber division kicked off a store remodel this summer with the help of Emery-Waterhouse, the company’s new hardware supplier. Along with new paint and flooring the store layout has been drastically changed. More customer service counters have been added, the door and window showroom has been updated and improved, the product offerings have been expanded and new signage is allowing for easier navigation of the store’s products.
Concord Lumber Corporation has recently launched a new website. The website has a built-in product selection guide, expanded information on the company’s services, a
contractor/builder directory for homeowners, and dedicated professional and homeowner sections.
