Classic, Vista and Heritage –
Deckorators new premium composite decking provides a durable, ultra low-maintenance deck surface with the look of traditional wood. At 7/8” thick x 5-1/2” wide, the composite boards feature a solid profile, unlike many other composite boards on the market.
“The trend with many manufacturers has been to move toward a board design with a cavity in the back to reduce material costs. We believe our design reflects what contractors and homeowners are looking for in a deck profile,” explains Chris Camfferman, senior product manager, Universal Forest Products. “For one, not everyone likes the look of the cavity-back boards, as they want the profile to resemble that of traditional wood decking. Also, the ends of the boards can be seen unless installers frame the deck or cover it with fascia. We addressed price point concerns by reducing the thickness of our boards, which we are able to do thanks to the strength of our composite material.”
This new line of composite decking is designed to be installed with a hidden fastener clip for a blemish-free deck surface and comes in the following colors: Classic – Gray, Cedar, Redwood and Walnut; Vista – Ashwood, Sandalwood, Rosewood and Kingwood; and Heritage – Milled Maple and Barrel-aged Oak.
Deckorators composite decking will now feature the industry’s most complete warranty program: 25-year Limited Structural Warranty, 25-year Limited Stain and Fade Warranty, and our all new 25-year Removal and Replacement Warranty.
