SCHOFIELD, Wi. – Diamond Kote Building Products has added Rabbeted Nail Fin Trim and Rabbeted Nail Fin Outside Corners to their product line. These products were designed to increase the value of the Diamond Kote Complete Siding System™ to the contractor, homeowner, and lumberyard.
Designed around Diamond Kote’s hidden fastener system, the new products include the company’s nailing flange and also incorporate a built-in J-pocket. The new features are meant to eliminate face nails, reducing the number of touch-ups needed, and to conceal cut ends in the pocket, allowing for less precise measuring and cutting. Diamond Kote’s Technical Product Expert, Brandon Hofsteter, says the most significant benefit of the newly designed products is the elimination of the use of caulk. “You get a cleaner, crisper look and don’t have to worry about caulking all of your seams,” says Hofsteter, who was a contractor in Missouri for 25 years before joining the Diamond Kote team. “These products will be a game changer for siding installers.”
The Rabbeted Nail Fin Trim is available in both 4” and 6” widths and 16’ lengths, and the Rabbeted Nail Fin Outside Corners are available in 4” widths, in both 10’ and 16’ lengths. The products are available in all standard colors and can also be custom colored.
