Bremen, Ind. — Digger Specialties Inc. (DSI), a supplier of aluminum railing, is extending its distribution network with the addition of Sherwood Lumber. Headquartered in Melville, New York, Sherwood Lumber has been serving the building products industry since 1954 and now supplies more than 2,000 lumberyards throughout the U.S.
Sherwood Lumber will distribute DSI’s Westbury aluminum railing products in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, eastern New York and Long Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. To support sales growth in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets, DSI recently announced the addition of a new manufacturing facility located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The new facility is currently under construction with targeted production scheduled to begin during the first half of 2022.
