ECi names Holden as new VP of sales for LBM and hardlines

Fort Worth, Texas — ECi Software Solutions has appointed of Jim Holden to vice president of sales – LBM and Hardlines division. In his new role, Holden will be tasked with supporting ECi’s growth by expanding product and service offerings to small-to-medium-sized independent hardware stores, building materials dealers and lumberyards.

Holden brings more than 25 years of software sales and leadership experience to ECi, most of which was focused specifically on retail and LBM dealers. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales at Neopost, a software and services firm focused on shipping and logistics. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at Epicor Software, holding several executive sales roles, including vice president of sales specific to the retail and lumber / building materials industry. While at Epicor, Holden was responsible for leading customer sales, lead development, new sales and national accounts.

“Jim is a phenomenal resource to add to our growing LBMH division,” said John Maiuri, president of ECi’s LBM and Hardlines Division. “Beyond his vast and impressive career as a software sales leader, Jim grew up working in his family-owned, small community retail business, giving him unique perspective on our customer base. That, combined with his expertise in ecommerce and in the impact companies like Amazon are having on our customers, makes him the ideal candidate for this role.”

Holden graduated from California State University-Sacramento with a degree in business administration and management. He is based in San Francisco.
