Eco Building Products, Inc., announced in a press release today that its Board of Directors has appointed Randy Smith as the company’s CFO. Smith has assisted companies with all aspects of strategic business planning, forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and business restructuring, the release states. Smith started his careerĀ as an auditor KPMG and achieved the level of Senior Audit Manager. He managed several initial public offerings and two $300 million public bond offerings. Clients included Revlon, US Airways, and the Jack in the Box chain of restaurants.
As an experienced mid-market CFO, Smith has led a number of recapitalizations and strategic buy-outs.”Randy and I have worked together before in leading a green field start-up and I know him to be a shirt sleeves financial pro, willing to dive into virtually any problem and work collaboratively to get things done. Randy will roll his sleeves up and do whatever it takes alongside the rest of us and He is a welcomed addition to the Eco Team,” said Tom Comery, President and CEO.
“The challenges and opportunities that Eco faces are the sort of thing I find exciting and worthwhile,” Smith said. “Helping a company through a period of transition such as this and repositioning it for growth is extremely rewarding and I’m excited to join the company.
