Curtis Lumber’s Ray Brook, N.Y. store suffered fire damage Jan. 29. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports that the area firefighters were able to put out the blaze before it spread from the location’s storefront to any other buildings on the property, which includes a kitchen and bath showroom, and a large drive-through warehouse and lumberyard.
Fire Chief Brendan Keough told the paper that the fire was “all contained to about a quarter of the main showroom.”
Founded in 1890 and a member of the LBM Journal Century Club, Curtis Lumber has 21 locations in New York.
