Georgia-Pacific Wood Products has donated $10,000 in materials to the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway in Charlotte, N.C.
The St. June Dream Home Giveaway program is a raffle program in which tickets are sold for a chance to win a new home construction in one of several locations around the U.S.
17,000 tickets will be sold for the Charlotte build, with all of the proceeds going to St. Jude for research and treatment of children battling life threatening diseases. The winner will receive a custom home built by Newton Custom Homes. GP provided the ForceField Air & Water Barrier System, Thermostat radiant barrier sheathing, and DryGuard moisture resistant sub-floor panels.
“We were familiar with the St. Jude brand and what they stand for and just what they do. It was an easy decision for us to get involved to be a part of such a great cause,” said GP Senior Marketing Manager Jeff Key told WBTV news.
