How much should LBM sales pros be paid?

LBM sales compensation and benefits survey

How much should LBM sales pros be paid, and how should their pay be structured? What about benefits (like retirement plans, health and dental insurance), and other perks? To answer those questions, and to help dealers and distributors determine how their compensation packages compare, we need your input for our 2023 LBM Sales Compensation + Benefits Survey.

Working again with The Farnsworth Group, this year’s survey results will build off the results from the last study conducted in 2019, which show how compensation and benefits trends have changed in the past four years. Plus, several questions have been added based on your feedback. A summary and analysis of the results will appear in an upcoming issue of LBM Journal.

What’s in it for you: In exchange for your participation, you’ll receive a complimentary copy of the full 2023 LBM Sales Compensation + Benefits Report (value: $500) once it’s complete. The full report, compiled, designed and analyzed by the pros at The Farnsworth Group, will include every question and answer, along with supporting charts, graphs and analysis. Companies who don’t participate may purchase a copy of the report at a later date.
