As recovery continues in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, which struck North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee and other coastal states earlier this year, companies in the LBM industry are working to direct help to where it is needed most.
Kellick & Associates, a local building industry advisory firm, is helping to organize resources to share with those who may be able to help. See below for ways you can help with recovery efforts.
Nonprofits helping Western North Carolina rescue, recovery, and rebuilding:
For desperately needed building materials please send to Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity. Monetary donations can be made to all. The fastest avenues to get your contributions to people in need will be Rutherford HFH or a local church. Â
Local churches (all denominations) are also taking donations of materials or money with a direct pass-through to their local community.
