Issaquah Lumber, a Pacific Northwest specialty building products supplier, announced that it received a Group Chain of Custody Registration certificate verifying that forest-based materials are produced according to the rigorous standard set by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®).
Part of the Sustainable Northwest FSC Group, the certification ensures forest-based materials are credibly used along the product’s path from forest to becoming finished goods.
“We are incredibly proud to have been granted the FSC® Group Chain of Custody Registration Certificate,” said Chad Amble, president and CEO of Issaquah Lumber. “The certification is a testament to our commitment to sustainable and responsible forestry practices. At Issaquah Lumber, we believe in preserving our forests for future generations, and this recognition underscores our dedication to environmental stewardship.”
Sustainable Northwest Group partners with small businesses throughout Oregon, Washington, California, and Canada to make the FSC certification easy and affordable while providing year-round support.
