LOUISVILLE, Ky.— K-I Lumber, a subsidiary of US LBM Holdings, LLC (“US LBM“), announces its partnership with Boland Maloney Lumber, Kingbrook Window and Door, and Structural Component Systems to better serve professional builders and contractors in greater Louisville metropolitan area.

K-I Lumber will operate Boland Maloney’s building material distribution center and millwork operations, as well as adding a kitchen and bath showroom, which increases its total capacity 70,000 square feet on 7 acres. The Boland Maloney truss and wall panel manufacturing operation, Structural Component Systems, will be moved to K-I Lumber’s state-of-the-art manufacturing center in Shelbyville, KY. Additionally, Boland Maloney’s key sales and operational personnel will join K-I Lumber in order to maintain the same level of service that its customers have been accustomed to receiving since 1937. The combination of businesses creates the largest building material provider in Kentucky with the most distribution and manufacturing capacity and more than 161 years of experience.
K-I Lumber will honor all Boland Maloney Lumber’s existing contracts, Davis Boland said.

Nothing, basically, is going to change,” said Bob DeFerraro, President of K-I. “The acquisition is going to allow us to have a number of highly-experienced and talented personal at Boland transition to K-I Lumber and Building Materials.”
Today, K-I Lumber has grown to become a one-stop shop for building products providing a complete line that includes cabinetry, windows, doors, trusses, components, roofing, siding, and framing materials to the Kentucky and Indiana market. K-I Lumber is headquartered in Louisville, serving the market with two locations. The company also has full-service distribution centers in Lexington, KY; Clarksville, IN; and Evansville, IN; as well as a truss and wall panel manufacturing facility in Shelbyville, KY.
