Selling to Kodiak Building Partners was the perfect choice for Tom Christiansen, the release said. “By no accident, Christensen Lumber has become a leader in the Midwest for engineered wood building components, millwork, and lumber sales. Hard work, deliberate planning, investments, and execution led us to this juncture, and Kodiak is perfectly positioned to allow us to continue on our successful journey and help us keep our focus on our areas of expertise,” Tom Christiansen added.

Steve Swinney, Kodiak’s CEO, stated that Kodiak has been following the success of Christensen Lumber for a long time. “I’m so pleased to have the opportunity to join the Christensen family in serving their Midwestern markets. The values represented by Christensen and the communities they serve…family, hard work, and humility, are ones we share. Tom has led his family’s business to new heights and has thoughtfully planned out Christensen’s bright future. We feel fortunate to partner with such a fine company and its exceptional employees. Great things will continue to happen at Christensen.”
