Kodiak Building Partners acquires San Antonio Masonry & Steel

Kodiak Building Partners, a leading building materials distribution company, has announced the acquisition of San Antonio Masonry and Steel, a premier provider of masonry, stone, stucco and steel products in south Texas. This strategic acquisition, which closed on Aug. 13, further strengthens Kodiak’s presence in the Texas market and celebrates San Antonio Masonry and Steel’s distinguished legacy of quality and community engagement.

This is Kodiak’s first construction supply business acquisition since the addition of Barnsco in Austin, TX, to its portfolio. The decision to expand in this area of construction supply is driven by strong growth projections for the Texas construction sector and the opportunity to tap into a dynamic market. Additionally, San Antonio Masonry and Steel demonstrates an intangible quality that Kodiak holds paramount to success – empowering employees and customers to grow and build a better future for themselves and their community.

Since its founding in 2000, San Antonio Masonry and Steel has grown significantly, now employing more than 150 team members and serving a wide range of residential and commercial builders in the San Antonio metropolitan area. The company is renowned for its exceptional customer service and extensive product range, establishing itself as a trusted leader in the local construction industry.
