Highlands Ranch, Colo. — Kodiak Building Partners has secured its reputation as a growing national leader within the LBM industry by earning a place on the Inc. 5000 list of rapidly growing American companies for the fifth time.
For the 2022 list, Kodiak is ranked at 4,106, placing them as the 189th fastest-growing company in construction and building materials in the nation and the 6th fastest-growing building materials and construction company headquartered in Colorado. The Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing, privately held companies in the United States was first introduced by Inc. in 1982. Over the years, the Inc. 5000 list has become an indicator of entrepreneurial success in the country. Companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 list are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. Notable companies previously named on the list include Microsoft, Oracle, Under Armour, Pandora, and Patagonia.
“Our rapid growth throughout tough economic times has been made possible by our wonderful team, and I want to take this opportunity to congratulate the entire Kodiak Family on this accomplishment,” said Steve Swinney, CEO of Kodiak Building Partners. “While this selection to the Inc. 5000 list solidifies our standing among the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., the growth of Kodiak is far from over. As an organization, we will continue to partner with the best local building product distribution businesses across the country and invest in our operations and teams to ensure the incredible growth we have seen continues well into the future.”
“It’s a privilege to be part of the Inc. 5000 list again,” said Kodiak CFO, Jeff Smith. “To be ranked on this list for the past five years is an indication of how we do business here at Kodiak. The way we approach the building materials industry, which is rooted in entrepreneurial success, collaboration, and a culture that puts our local teams first, has proven to be a path to success. This kind of accomplishment comes with hard work, smart pivots, great leadership, and the help of our entire team across the country.”
