US LBM Holdings, LLC increased its roster Thursday with the acquisition of a Southwest Fla. door and window firm.
In a press release Thursday, US LBM announced the acquisition of LouMac Distributors, Inc. of Fort Myers, Fla. from Scott Myers and Lou Luongo. Both Myers and Luongo, as well as the rest of the team, will continue leading day-to-day operations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
LouMac Distributors has more than 27 years of combined experience in the industry, serving Southwest Florida with both new construction and replacement windows and doors, the release read.
“LouMac Distributors has always sought to be a resource for our clients,” said Scott Myers, president of LouMac Distributors in Thursday’s release. “Our expansive showroom enables customers to experience our vast product offerings. We’ll guide them through the entire process from the design, to wind speed design pressure calculations, and energy efficiency (NFRC) values. LouMac’s outstanding team will fit seamlessly into US LBM. We are proud to join their family.”
“US LBM is the perfect partner to elevate LouMac to the next level,” said Lou Luongo, vice president of LouMac Distributors. “This relationship strengthens our ability to provide our customers, vendors, and associates with continued success for years to come.”
“US LBM entered the Florida market in early 2014 and since then have partnered with three separate businesses, including Jones Lumber Company, Rosen Materials and Coastal Roofing Supply”, said L.T. Gibson, president & CEO of US LBM. “The addition of LouMac further broadens US LBM’s product lines into the specialty window and door category and better diversifies its customer base within Florida. We are proud to partner with the LouMac associates and look forward to a future of opportunities together.”
