CEOs from ACS, Builders FirstSource, BMC, Kodiak, and US LBM have shared an open letter to the industry, supporting the NAHB Safety Stand Down on Thursday. The stand down is an initiative first introduced by the National Association of Home Builders that directs members to halt work for at least 10 minutes on Thursday, April 16, to educate workers on what they should do to keep themselves safe from COVID-19. Earlier this week, the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association also backed the measure. Below is the letter from the five CEOs in its entirety, and it is downloadable here.
