LMC‘s Kitchen and Bath team hosted its first in-person training. This event offered participants a unique opportunity to enhance their expertise in industry trends, products, and management strategies.
A key innovation was dividing participants into manager and designer groups, allowing for focused discussions that highlighted distinct industry perspectives. Speakers included Sarah Reep (CMKBD Founder & Principal Consultant), Jan Rutgers (Vestabul School of Design President), Daniel Gibson (Learning and Development Manager at CWG), and Vanessa Dekoekkoek (Product Manager at Cyncly).
Designer sessions focused on software techniques, sales process optimization, and industry best practices for kitchen and bath professionals. Participants learned time-saving design hacks and proven strategies to enhance their expertise. Educational sessions concluded with a collaborative roundtable to discuss key industry topics. Manager sessions explored team challenges and professional growth strategies, featuring insights into market trends and business development. Vanessa’s roundtable moderation created engaging conversations, helping dealers understand technology impacts and prepare for strategic growth in 2025.
The event culminated in an interactive cooking experience at La Cucina in Philadelphia, where dealers learned to prepare traditional Italian dishes. This hands-on session blended learning with networking, exemplifying LMC’s commitment to professional development.
Participants were enthusiastic about the event’s intimate size and comprehensive content. Jim Artim of H.J. Opdyke in Frenchtown, New Jersey noted: “I found the event to be energizing and informative. The speakers had me leaving the conference thinking of ways I can do better and be more efficient in my job.”
Nancy Sudsina of Allegheny Millwork and Lumber in Pittsburgh, PA said “The Kitchen & Bath event was perfectly sized—just big enough to get a good sampling, small enough for comfortable sharing, with Vanessa’s excellent moderation pulling great ideas from participants.”
Whether designers or business leaders, attendees gained valuable insights to drive success in the evolving kitchen and bath industry.
