CHICAGO — L&W Supply has announced that Curt Jenkins, former district manager for Texas, has been promoted to Central Region vice president. Regional vice presidents play a key leadership role at the company, responsible for ensuring L&W Supply’s branches continue to refine service and support for their customers.
Jenkins has been in the building materials industry for 35 years, having spent 24 of those years with L&W Supply. Prior to becoming the manager for Texas District, Jenkins served as branch manager for six different branches in Florida, eventually receiving a promotion to Florida District manager.
“Among the leaders at L&W Supply, Curt Jenkins is uniquely suited for this position,” says Dan Piché, president of L&W Supply. “Not only is he one of our most knowledgeable and experienced district managers, but he has an unparalleled grasp on the complexities of our branches in the Central Region. We’re very excited to see how Curt will continue to push L&W’s branch teams forward to deliver world-class service and operational excellence.
The Central Region of L&W Supply consists of several major markets for building material distribution, including Chicago, Nashville, and the state of Texas. In his new role, Jenkins will be responsible for leading the Central Region to expand the branch footprint, optimize their processes, and reinforce L&W Supply’s commitment to customer and vendor relationships.
