McCoy’s Building Supply recently named two new store managers. The company announced the appointment of Tyler Louis as store manager of its Palestine, Texas location and Julio Lopez as store manager of its Carlsbad, N.M. store.
Louis joined McCoy’s three years ago as part of the company’s Management Development Program. He worked at McCoy’s Victoria, Texas, store as a manager-in-training before being promoted to assistant manager. He was named co-manager of McCoy’s Aransas Pass, Texas, store following Hurricane Harvey and eventually moved west to manage the company’s Hobbs, N.M. store.
“I’m really excited to be in Palestine and learn this new market. I’ve lived in a few different places in Texas and I’m looking forward to the feel of a small-town community,” said Louis. “Our team is focused on providing the best service possible. Randy Clayton made such an impact managing the Palestine McCoy’s for so many years, and we will certainly remember his legacy as we continue to serve our customers and our community.”
Lopez started his career with McCoy’s ten years ago at the company’s Las Cruces, N.M., store working as a cashier before taking on roles in the lumberyard and on the sales floor. His dedication to serving the Born-to-Build customer was evident, and he joined McCoy’s Management Development Program. Lopez served as assistant manager in Las Cruces before his promotion to Carlsbad.
Lopez highlighted his customers and team when asked about his favorite part of working at McCoy’s. “It’s great to be in a role where you can connect with people who are building new homes or improving existing ones,” said Lopez. “We have a well-established crew here in Carlsbad that is known for their willingness to go above and beyond for our customers, no matter the size of their project.”
Recent McCoy’s Building Supply managers announcements include Chris Rodriguez in Midland, Texas, and Brian Oney in Orange, Texas.
