LUFKIN, Texas — McCoy’s Building Supply in Lufkin, Texas recently celebrated the completion a major remodel with a Chamber of Commerce Board Cutting, the McCoy’s version of a ribbon cutting. The event was attended by local dignitaries including Mayor Mark Hicks and members of the community who enjoyed food, conversation and giveaways. The store also presented a $2,000 check to the Chuck Arnold Memorial Scholarship.
“We’re so appreciative of everyone shopping with us during the busyness of the remodel,” said Store Manager Tyler Fenley. “The store looks great and we’re so excited for everyone to see it.” McCoy’s has been serving professional homebuilders, remodelers and do-it-yourselfers throughout Lufkin and its surrounding area for 40 years and the updated store showcases a new product set, brand new lumberyard, and new in-store facilities.
“My hats off to Tyler and his team. Opening a store is only part of the work, the real work is having a reputation for serving customers well which the Lufkin team certainly has,” said President and COO Meagan McCoy Jones.
