McCoy’s Building Supply announced the appointment of two new store managers this week. Steven Griffin was named manager of the Tomball, Texas location, and Joe Munoz was appointed manager of the Rosenberg, Texas store.
Griffin is a 16 year McCoy’s veteran who started his career at the Tomball store working as a stocker and truck driver before quickly rising through the ranks. Griffin was previously the Store Manager in Tomball from 2000 to 2014 before leaving to pursue other career opportunities. But now, he’s back and more excited than ever to be a part of this great team.
“After leaving the company I realized how much I missed serving the employees and customers in Tomball,” said Griffin. “I’m really excited to re-connect with everyone and build new relationships with new customers.”
Munoz is a 17 year McCoy’s veteran who started his career at McCoy’s in his hometown of El Campo, Texas working in the lumberyard as a yard foreman before quickly rising through the ranks. During his tenure with McCoy’s, Munoz and his wife, Denise, raised their son Ryan while he managed stores in Pearland, Cleveland and most recently Tomball.
“I was the Assistant Manager of the Rosenberg store in early 2005 and I’m excited to be back,” Munoz said. “Rosenberg is a growing town that still has a small-town feel. I grew up in a small town and enjoy working in that atmosphere.”
McCoy’s is headquartered in San Marcos, Texas and headed by owner and CEO, Brian McCoy. McCoy’s employs more than 2,000 and operates 86 stores and two millwork facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and New Mexico.
