Branchburg, N.J. —Mid-State Lumber Corporation has announced that after 49 years in the wholesale building products industry, Senior Territory Manager Dennis L. Brooks has retired effective April 11, 2015. Brooks said that he is extremely grateful for the many opportunities along the way to grow long lasting friendships and business relationships.
Dennis will be replaced by Bob Carroll, who has extensive experience with customers, sales and product. Bob joins Mid-State Lumber as a Territory Manager covering Boston south, Cape Cod and Rhode Island. Bob has been in the building industry for more than 25 years. He enjoys golf and working around the home. Bob is married to Karen and is the proud father of three, including two daughters, Kristen and Rylee and a son, Ryan. Bob also has two grandchildren, Liam and Gavin.
Ron Volino joins Mid-State Lumber as a Territory Manager for the Long Island market. Ron has been in the building industry for more than 16 years. He started in outside sales for Cameron Ashley Building Products before moving on to Bradco Supply. Ron then moved on to Alside Supply, where he won company-wide Salesman of the Year, growing his territory from $2 million to $11.5 million. At Alside Supply, Ron became a territory manager working with distribution partners, dealers and contractor sales. His latest position has been field sales representative for Parksite. Ron enjoys riding his motorcycle and watching sports. He is the proud father of four boys who range in age from 15 to 30.
Eric Studer has joined Mid-State Lumber Corp. as a Commodities Trader. After graduating from the University of Maine with a B.S. in Wood Technology, Eric began his 24-year career at Rex Lumber Company in Englishtown, NJ. Eric has spent his entire career in the wholesale building materials industry, primarily servicing the Northern New Jersey, southern New York and eastern Pennsylvania markets. Eric lives in Morris County, NJ where he enjoys his spare time with his wife, Kimberly, and two daughters Abigail and Molly.
Lyndsey Stratton is new to the building industry. Previous to joining the Mid-State family, she worked at Fairway Building Products, focusing on railing and accessories. She is the fourth generation in her family to be involved in the building industry and she looks forward to what the industry holds for her and her family. Lyndsey is currently enrolled in graduate school to obtain her Masters degree in English literature and one day plans to het her PhD. She also holds a personal training certification and a Bachelor’s degree in secondary English education. Her family includes her husband, Joe, who is a fireman for the city of Philadelphia and their newborn son, Christian. Together they enjoy traveling, camping and snowmobiling.
