NLBMDA wants to hear how providing health care for your employees is impacting your bottom line. Share your story to strengthen the case to lawmakers in Washington, D.C. that action on health care is needed. Last year in a survey of NLBMDA members, dealers ranked health care as the top issue affecting their business operations.
According to a recent Kaiser Family Foundation survey, in 2015 average annual premiums for employer-sponsored health insurance were $6,251 for single coverage, of which employers on average paid $5,180. The average premium was $17,545 for family coverage, with employers on average contributing $12,590.
NLBMDA is working on several pieces of legislation to lower health care costs for employers. But to continue building the case for reform of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), we need your personal stories on how providing health care to your employees affects your ability to run your business and contribute to your community.
