Grabber SuperDrive 75G5
Grabber’s new pneumatic deck fastening tool is design to consistently and accurately secure deck clips to joists and deck boards without over-driving or under-driving the clips. Grabber employed the same technology used in collated screw tools for putting up drywall. Using a 9 x 1-3/4″ framing screw, the 75G5 drives deck clips tight, but is designed not to overdrive. The SuperDrive 75G5 uses collated exterior-grade GrabberGuard coated fasteners. The tool can be configured for top-drive screwing or deck clips. The 75G5 holds 50 screws and needs no air compressor or hoses.

MiTek TECO Color-Coded Nails
MiTek TECO collated nails have a color-coded and head stamping identification system that identifies the nail’s length and diameter after installation. This unique color-coding system allows a building inspector or installer to determine that the right nail has been used when installing connectors, without having to remove the nail for inspection. For example, the color purple indicates a 1-1/2″ nail, and the color blue indicates a 2-1/2″ nail. For head stamps, #3 indicates a .131 diameter, #4 indicates a .148 diameter, and #6 indicates a .162 diameter nail. MiTEK TECO hot-dip galvanized nails can be installed with the majority of popular 33-degree paper tape pneumatic nail guns (plus or minus 2 degrees).
