“Our most nontraditional media is community involvement,” Kate says. “It’s one of our largest marketing avenues— especially in smaller towns where other forms of media may not be as impactful.”
Last year, Woodson Lumber was named a Texas Historical marker site and awarded the Texas Treasure Historical Business Award. Its long-standing reputation and focus on family— whether through blood or working relationships— has continued to move the business forward.
“We have some great executive leadership at the moment, and they keep us moving forward; I’m very grateful,” Chapman says. “Our hope for the future is to have people who will continue to invest their time, energy and passion into the customers, products and community, because—right now—this is a great place to be.”
