New Automated Storm Door Production Line

State-of-the-art equipment has been added for storm door production. The new equipment maximizes quality control with a chip management system that removes debris from finished surfaces to avoid potential for scratching. New sawing capabilities enhance the consistency of mitered corners. Additional inline processing capabilities speed up production output while maintaining ProVia’s high quality standards.

While many of the new storm door production line’s processes are automated, some are intentionally not. “At the end of the production line we have two employees who wipe down each storm door and inspect it for quality,” says Keith Yutzy, Vice President of Operations, ProVia. “When reaching for the higher quality standard, as we do at ProVia, there are some things you just can’t do with automation. We still want the human touch to ensure our customers receive the highest quality products.”
