Soffit – the Functional Finishing Touch

Paired with siding or manufactured stone cladding, soffit brings a polished appearance to a home’s façade while protecting underlying structural materials. Installed under the eaves of a home’s roof and on the ceilings of porches and decks, soffit covers exposed surfaces with coordinating vinyl material that shields them from precipitation. Soffit serves as a functional component as well as an aesthetic accent, an upgrade that can add to a home’s resale value.

Without soffit, moisture and condensation can cause surfaces to become saturated, leading to ice build-up, mildew, rotting, and deterioration to building components.

Vented vinyl soffit allows moisture to escape, enabling proper ventilation and preventing water damage to the home’s exterior, as well as interior ceilings and walls.

Soffit also prevents pests—insects, birds, squirrels, and bats—from damaging exteriors and entering a home.

ProVia® offers three vinyl soffit profiles, in multiple sizes and with solid and vented options:

  • Beaded soffit is .042” thick and features AirCanal channel venting and dual channel stability.
  • Woodhaven® soffit is available in a .044” thick 3/4” profile, and a .042” thick 5/8” profile. Woodhaven offers channel vent, hidden vent, and solid soffit styles.
  •  Universal soffit is .040” thick and engineered with deep V-groove, drilled aeration holes, and controlled airflow design.

ProVia soffit is produced with the same high-quality polymer materials as our vinyl siding, providing superior durability and weatherability. Available in a wide palette of neutral and bold hues, like Antique White, Sandalwood, Mountain Berry, and Nightfall, to complement or contrast your customer’s exterior color scheme. All styles are backed with a Lifetime Limited Warranty.
