Step Up to the Future of Composite Decking

MoistureShield offers the only wood composite boards in the industry that can be installed on the ground, in the ground, or underwater without any structural performance issues. In fact, our decking has stood up to the elements for more than 30 years with no structural field failures.

At the foundation of every deck board is MoistureShield’s proprietary Solid Core—an impermeable barrier that fights damage from moisture, rot, insects, and other harmful elements. Our core maintains its integrity even after ripping and cutting, mitigating warranty issues, and long-term damage.

MoistureShield’s strongest capped wood composite board—Vision—is protected with our exclusive DiamondDefense™ Coating to exude distinctive style while resisting scratches, stains and damage on impact. The coating creates the strongest capped wood composite board on the market to protect your deck against everyday damage and keep it looking like new for longer.

Select colors of Vision decking also feature MoistureShield’s proprietary CoolDeck® Techology to help reduce heat absorption by up to 35%.* This technology doesn’t just keep bare feet and paws comfortable in the hot summer sun, it is also splinter-free and slip-resistant. Moistureshield is the first company to offer this heat-resistant composite decking innovation that helps create more comfortable outdoor environments all season long.

*Reduces heat absorption by up to 35% compared to standard capped composites in a similar color.

In addition, Vision decking offers a 20-Year Commercial Limited Structural Warranty, Transferable 50-Year Residential Structural Warranty and 50-Year Fade** and Stain Warranty. It is approved for use as cladding in architectural applications and also approved for use in California Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) zones (WUI Listing No. 8110-2321:0500).

Beautiful and Realistic Colors

MoistureShield’s Vision deck boards are available in six beautiful colors with textures that reflect the look of real hardwood while offering unmatched performance features that are designed to last a lifetime. Vision’s Cathedral Stone, Cold Brew and Mochaccino colors all feature MoistureShield’s proprietary CoolDeck Technology.

Made for Life on the Water

MoistureShield is the only wood composite decking on the market with virtually no moisture absorption, inside or out. Thanks to the Solid Core Difference, our products can be installed on the water or underwater without damage from warping or swelling, even after cutting.

Vision Marine Grade 2x provides all the features of our regular Vision decking, including our DiamondDefense Coating and CoolDeck Technology along with a thicker, 2X construction designed specifically for pool and marine grade applications. Rated for a 24” joist span and offering extreme durability and superior slip resistance, Vision Marine Grade 2x is the perfect option for marinas, docks, piers, lakeside decks and boardwalks, Vision Marine Grade 2x.

Composite Decking as an Architectural Detail

MoistureShield’s Vision decking is also approved for use as cladding to enhance the architectural detail of a building or home’s facade while also offering the benefits of a low maintenance material.

Vision’s resilient, color-enriched composite cladding evokes the look and feel of real hardwood, with authentic wood grain textures and reduced pattern repetition. It is the only composite decking approved for cladding that offers 360-degree protection to the core to fight damage from moisture, rot, insects and the elements.

And since MoistureShield Vision composite decking is made with 95% recycled content (see below), architects, builders and contractors are eligible to earn credit in LEED green building rating programs when using it in cladding applications.

Sustainability Matters

MoistureShield is committed to working towards a cleaner, waste-free world. That’s why our Vision decking boards our made with 95% recycled content, much of it material that we help divert from landfills. 100% of the wood we use is recycled, so no trees are cut down to make our product. That’s more than 65 million pounds of wood fiber we recycle every year, or the equivalent of more than 15,000 trees. 25% of the plastic we use comes from post-consumer waste — like plastic bags and bottles — so they become part of beautiful decks rather than landfills or pollutions.

Along with our commitment to sustainability, MoistureShield Vision’s authentic hardwood look, the ability to outlast traditional wood products and its use in both marine and cladding applications make it a solid choice for any outdoor project.
