Tremco launches Rising Stars Program to attract new construction workers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – WCNC reports that Tremco Construction Products Group has launched the Rising Stars Program to help attract new people to the construction industry. David Hutchinson is the director of the program.

Officially launched this month in the Grier Heights neighborhood of Charlotte, the Rising Stars Program’s stated purpose is to “cultivate a strong, well-rounded workforce in the construction industry through supporting youth in vocational programs, as well as minority- and women-owned businesses.”

The program offers two tracks, the Next Level Contractor Program and Youth Development Program. Both offer hands-on education with construction industry professionals.
