TimberTech, a CPG Building Products brand and leader in high-performance decking, is unveiling its new Tropical Collection at the 2016 National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) International Builders’ Show (IBS) from January 19 – 21, 2016 in Las Vegas.
Leveraging outdoor living trends and consumer market research, the company will debut this re-designed collection which features rich colors and textures inspired by beautiful, reclaimed wood. In recent independent consumer testing, the new Tropical Collection colors were preferred nearly 4:1 over the competition.
Designed to provide builders and homeowners with best-in-class finishes, the Tropical Collection showcases a vividly stunning array of color options. The new colors are:
- Antique Palm – a deep, rustic brown with subtle streaking
- Caribbean Redwood – a beautiful balance of rich red and warm brown with darker color variegations
- Antigua Gold – an exotic, golden brown with natural streaking
- Amazon Mist – a contemporary mid-tone gray with warm undertones of soft blonde and deep brown
“We are always looking to stand out in the marketplace, and we recognized a need to create new color options as part of our updated and simplified product line,” said Jason Grommon, President of CPG Building Products. “The new Tropical Collection offers consumer preferred color and style selections within our TimberTech brand of capped wood composite decking.”
Along with the Tropical Collection, TimberTech’s decking line also includes the Terrain Collection and the Legacy Collection. This three-tiered approach is intended to help dealers carry the best options at three price ranges, while making the purchasing process simplified for homeowners.
