WeatherSmart Drainable’s unique channeling feature actually directs liquid away from the wall assembly and to the ground, keeping your structure dry. With a perm rating of 15, the WeatherSmart Drainable design provides architects and builders with the ideal level of vapor permeability – so it’s the smart choice behind most claddings, such as fiber cement, brick, vinyl and wood siding. Combined with superior water resistance, WeatherSmart Drainable protects buildings from mold, rot, and structural failure for years to come.
WeatherSmart Drainable is quick and easy to install thanks to its patented, cloth-like non-woven material that resists tears, abrasions and punctures. It is made from spunbonded polypropylene fabric with a non-perforated breathable polymer layer, and is embossed for drainage efficiency. Its design also provides a highly reliable air infiltration barrier that is incredibly UV stable.
Made in the USA and protected by a 10-year limited warranty, it is available in 5’, 9’ and 10′ wide rolls by 125 lineal feet.
