Rochester, NY — The William B. Morse Lumber Company today announced it will acquire Rochester Lumber Company as of Dec. 31.
William B. Morse Lumber Company, a member of the LBM Century Club, is a fifth-generation family owned company that has served the greater Rochester market since 1853. Rochester Lumber is a 107-year-old family business with locations in Rochester, East Rochester, and Farmington.

Rochester Lumber’s inventory will be absorbed and delivered out of a Morse Lumber location, and Rochester Lumber’s East Rochester location will remain open as a building supply and hardware source.
Windows, doors, stairs, and millwork products will be rolled into and delivered out of Morse Sash & Door in Henrietta, NY. The Rochester Lumber truss operation in Farmington, N.Y. will remain open under a new ownership and NextGen Building Components will be a wholesale supplier of roof trusses and panelized walls.
